About Us ECC was founded in 2004 by a small group of scientists, engineers, financial experts and business leaders, all committed to the idea that environmental protection makes good economic sense. Since then we've become a leading developer of greenhouse gas mitigation and carbon offset projects. We currently own, operate or provide carbon credit services to more than 60 emission reduction projects throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. 	Latest News & Events March 8, 2013 -- ECC is pleased to announce that 7 of our projects so far have been accepted by the CA Air Resource Board for Early Action Listing. November 19, 2012 -- ECC named #1 Offset Project Developer in North America by CARBON TRADING August 24, 2011 -- ECC named #1 Project Developer in North America by POINT CARBON June 30, 2011 -- Deadline for listing existing eligible food waste composting projects with the Climate Action Reserve June 28, 2011 -- ECC/Native Energy workshop on Environmental and economic benefits of capturing dairy manure methane in Chambersburg, PA, which included a tour of anaerobic digester projects under construction on dairies in Pennsylvania.
